This ring is set with one of the hottest stones of the year, which is the “Morganite” gemstone. Morganite is known as the pinkish-salmon colored gemstone, which is the closest cousin to emeralds & aquamarine. It is a member of the Beryl family and it gets it's rosie hue from traces of manganese. This pillow-cut center stone measures 7mm in size (2 carats) and it is prong-set sitting a bit raised above a halo border of tiny, synthetic “diamonds”. These tiny faux diamonds continue partially down the sides of the band. The base is sterling silver sealed in 18kt rose gold.
