This ring is set with one of the hottest stones of the year, which is the “Morganite” gemstone. Morganite is known as the pinkish-salmon colored gemstone, which is the closest cousin to emeralds & aquamarine. It is a member of the Beryl family and it gets it's rosie hue from traces of manganese. This pillow-cut center stone measures 7mm in size (2 carats) and it is prong-set sitting a bit raised above a halo border of tiny, synthetic “diamonds”. These tiny faux diamonds continue partially down the sides of the band. The base is sterling silver sealed in 18kt rose gold. This also has a matching necklace by the same name, until it sells out.
