This deco design is reminiscent of a classic estate piece from the 1940’s. Many pieces in our vintage, estate line were inspired by the magnificent and intricate designs by world renowned designer to the stars, Harry Winston. The beautiful face of the ring measures approximately 5/8 tall and 3/4” wide. It is set with 16 spinel baguettes in a deep emerald green color.
What is a spinel?…..It is a semi-precious, natural mineral that has a hardness scale of 8 on the Mohs Scale (real diamonds are a 10). Spinel minerals are isometric oxides composed of iron, zinc, magnesium, and trace elements which give them their destined coloring.

The round halo of 16 spinel baguettes frame in a 5mm (a half-carat) round synthetic “diamond” in the center that is set in a beaded bezel, which is a classic setting that you’ll find in many fine genuine jewelry pieces from big estate sales.
There are also 2 more spinel baguettes on each side of the ring and the whole design is framed by a halo border of just under 60 tiny round “diamonds”.
The setting is sterling silver that has been sealed in 18kt yellow gold to resist tarnishing when cared for properly.
